About the event
Join us for a special series of Ribbon Skirt Making Classes held every Wednesday in April, from April 1st through April 29th, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Coyote Valley Wyndham Hotel ballroom. These classes are open to participants ages 10 and up and will provide an opportunity to create meaningful MMIP (Missing and Murdered Indigenous People) awareness skirts in preparation for MMIP Awareness Month in May.
Participants will learn about the cultural significance of ribbon skirts while engaging in a hands-on, community-centered activity. Dinner will be provided each evening. Registration is required to ensure enough materials are available for all attendees. Come together to create, learn, and honor our community through this powerful expression of awareness and tradition.
